In addition to the social opportunities, the Arlington Garden Club is active in the community. The club's fundraising events support local scholarships and local beautification projects, as well as contributions to community organizations selected by the board. Read more about our two major fundraising events, the Annual Plant Sale and the Holiday Garden Art and Crafts.
The Mayor's Garden, located in front of Arlington City Hall on Olympic Avenue, is planted and maintained by AGC members. Over the years the club has also planted a variety of items along the Centennial Trail.
Throughout the summer our garden club members' share the bounty of their gardens and donate extra blooms. Flowers are delivered to a local senior assisted living facility for residents to create bouquets to decorate their apartments.
