Arlington Garden Club
Quilt for raffle drawing in June
Welcome to the Arlington Garden Club Web site.
Our club was founded in 1934 to provide members with the opportunity to share their love of gardening with each other and our community. Through "planting and caring for growing things, and encouraging others" we celebrate and cultivate the beauty of nature.

Hopefully your roses have been trimmed by 1/3, if not, it is not too late. Today is a good time. It's also a beginning to be a great time of year to transplant: the soil is very wet and easy to release the roots. Also it's time to tend to the old yucky spent leaves that are laying on the ground around your young shoots: that is where slugs grow - expose those dirty buggers and get some air around the foliage.
