2026 AGC Plant Sale - Coming May 9!
Our Arlington Garden Club Plant Sale on May 9 (the day before Mother's Day) promises to be another great event this year! Runs from 9 am to 2 pm. Location: The Arlington City Hall Plaza.
Held annually, the popular AGC plant sale includes annuals, perennials, garden vegetables, herbs, shrubs and more. This local plant sale is one of the oldest in Western Washington and is renown for its variety and healthy plants. Some varieties are difficult to find at local nurseries!
In addition, the sale features unique garden art made by our own members! You'll also want to check out the AGC bake sale, with delicious homemade goodies.
The AGC Plant Sale is held the same day as the opening of the downtown Arlington Farmer's Market. Browse among locally grown food items, as well as crafts from local businesses. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Preparations. You can watch us getting prepared! Check out the photo gallery below, and keep coming back. We'll continue to add photos. Note: Some photos are taken early, all plants will be well-established and lush by the time the sale is held.
Special acknowledgement: A big thanks to the Arlington Co-op for once again providing compost at cost to use to pot plants or grow them from seed. We truly appreciate the support of this local business!
Background about the AGC Annual Plant sale
Held the Saturday before Mother's Day, the plant sale is always a popular event - featuring unique garden art and plants grown by our own members!
Our club members bring well-tended plants from their own gardens, as well as raising others from seed and planting gorgeous pots. In addition, AGC work parties create unique yard-art items, including concrete mushrooms, cedar planters and trellis structures, pine cone art, and more!
AGC volunteers are also available to answer gardening questions, which attendees said they really appreciated!
Supports local scholarships. We are proud of the fact that proceeds support our youth scholarship program, and FFA and other horticulture and environmental organizations.
