2017 Craft Day at Karen's

June Fling - June 10, 2019

This event is held the last month of our garden club year which runs from September through June. It's a celebration of the year's accomplishments. Each year the theme changes and members or groups of members are encouraged to adopt a table and decorate it with their version of the event theme. This year's theme is 'Ode to a Flower' in which each table will be decorated with a particular flower in mind.

At this event the Roberta Lothian award is presented, the annual $2,000 scholarship is awarded and, depending on the committee choice, a silent auction or other fun fundraiser is held the duration of the event.

This celebration is for current paid member's of the Arlington Garden Club. Guests are welcome at our September through May meetings.

Craft Day at Karen's - July 16th, 2018

For many years members of the Arlington Garden Club have gathered at member Karen Rickett's wonderful garden and shade house during the month of July to play and create craft projects. Each year new crafts are taught, mostly by members. A Wednesday night potluck is then held to pick up your hand-made treasures and enjoy the company of members and their guests.

Members must sign up in advance as space is limited. Details will appear in the Garden Scoop newsletter prior to the event and sign-up is necessary. Small fees may be required for craft projects to cover materials.

Arlington Garden Club members were hard at work making banners, wreaths and holiday greens in decorative containers for the 2017 Holiday Garden Art & Crafts event. See Upcoming Events tab.
