Seasonal Tips              Hopefully your roses have been trimmed by 1/3, if not, it is not too late. Today is a good time.  It's also a beginning to be a great time of year to transplant: the soil is very wet and easy to release the roots.  Also it's time to tend to the old yucky spent leaves that are laying on the ground around your young shoots: that is where slugs grow - expose those dirty buggers and get some air around the foliage.
